Liposuction and tummy tuck are aesthetic surgical procedures that can be performed together in patients who require a combined evaluation of fat accumulation, excess skin, and a loose appearance in the abdominal area. While liposuction aims to reduce fat tissue accumulated in specific areas, abdominoplasty is performed particularly to remove excess skin from the abdominal region and achieve a firmer abdominal appearance.
Liposuction and tummy tuck before and after photos help provide a clearer evaluation of changes in body contour. Preoperative images may show localized fat accumulation around the abdomen, sagging skin, looseness, or skin folds in the lower abdominal area. After surgery, the aim is to achieve a flatter abdominal contour, a more defined waistline, and more balanced body proportions.
Whether these two procedures are planned together depends on the patient’s existing fat distribution, skin elasticity, condition of the abdominal wall, previous pregnancies, weight changes, and overall body structure. The same surgical approach is not applied to every patient. Surgical planning is individualized.
During the first weeks after surgery, edema, swelling, bruising, and a feeling of tightness may occur. Therefore, photos taken during the early postoperative period may not fully reflect the final result. As the edema decreases and the tissues adapt to the new body contour, the results become more noticeable over time.
The liposuction and tummy tuck before and after photos below are shared to evaluate the changes that may occur in the abdominal and waist areas following combined surgery through real patient results. Results may vary from person to person depending on the patient’s anatomy, the extent of surgery, and the healing process.
